Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal spoke about the present state and future of the Republican Party during an interview with Fox News' Greta Van Sustern from November 12, 2008.

Jindal suggested that Republicans have an obligation as conservatives to "stand up on principle when we disagree" with democrats. He added that by doing so, and by demonstrating competent conservative leadership, the Republican Party can start winning elections again. Jindal also stressed that all elected representatives must start acting responsibly when deciding how much and how to spend taxpayers' dollars.

The interview spans almost ten minutes, and several other topics were discussed during the segment. Much of the remaining discourse centered around conservative leaders pursuing the active suggestion and implementation of conservative ideas and solutions geared toward solving the nation's problems.
